In the Anthropology Department laboratory, students learn how archaeologists catalog and study material culture (including artifacts, ecofacts, and faunal remains), and how forensic scientists analyze the human skeleton and interpret clues from osteological remains. It provides a unique opportunity to learn and acquire skills through hands-on experience.
Our lab helps students explore basics of laboratory analysis and forensic science, including techniques applied in archaeological projects and forensic investigations both locally and around the world.
