The career of an anthropologist will always have international dimensions since it seeks to understand the effects of globalization in everything from popular culture to changing patterns of migration, economics integration, the information revolution, and the constant re-evaluation of ethnic and other heritages.

Archaeology Field School

In this summer program, our students engage in hands-on training on an archaeological excavation. Over the course of two weeks, students work on the excavation of Vetricella, Italy where they learn methodology of archaeological research, history of early medieval Italy, and the economic structures of the early medieval world.
