Drawing in large part on ethnographic research conducted by Regina Flannery Herzfeld (1904-2004) and her mentor, Father James Cooper (1881-1949), former Anthropology faculty at Catholic University of America, this lecture will explore insights into the human ecology and anthropology of the Cree of James Bay.
